Mentors in the Coastal Region continue to work with their mentees to reach the goals of global GLOW Clubs this is what one of them said.
"As mentors in the UpwithCommunity program, we have a responsibility to empower the next generation of female leaders. It is our duty to provide guidance, support, and advice to help girls unlock their full potential and achieve their goals. Through our mentorship, we hope to impart the following lessons to our mentees:
Believe in yourself.
One of the most important lessons we can teach our mentees is to believe in themselves. Confidence is key to success, and girls need to know that they are capable of achieving great things. Encourage your mentee to take risks, try new things, and embrace their unique qualities and strengths.
Seek out opportunities to learn and grow.
Learning is a lifelong process, and it's important for girls to seek out opportunities to learn and grow. Encourage your mentee to pursue their passions and interests, and to always be curious and open to new experiences. Whether it's through school, extracurricular activities, or personal projects, there are countless opportunities for girls to learn and develop new skills.
Develop a strong support network.
No one succeeds alone, and it's important for girls to have a strong support network to help them navigate challenges and achieve their goals. Encourage your mentee to build relationships with supportive friends, family members, and mentors who can offer guidance, advice, and encouragement.
Advocate for yourself and others.
Girls have a powerful voice, and it's important for them to use it to advocate for themselves and others. Encourage your mentee to speak up for what they believe in, and to use their voice to make a difference in their communities and the world.
Never give up.
Success is rarely achieved without setbacks and failures along the way. Encourage your mentee to persevere through challenges, and to never give up on their dreams and aspirations. With hard work, determination, and resilience, anything is possible.
